Jennifer Lopez Becomes Face of L’Oreal

The new American Idol judge will be the face of upcoming makeup and hair care campaigns.

Jennifer Lopez has been unveiled as the newest global brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris.

“We are more than excited to announce this new partnership with the sublime, iconic and multi-talented Jennifer Lopez,” says Cyril Chapuy, global brand president, L’Oreal Paris. “Women everywhere admire not only Jennifer’s beauty but also her charisma and her commitment. We are honored to welcome her to our amazing roster of spokespeople that represents in all its diversity, the beauty of today’s woman. Jennifer will be the face of upcoming product innovations in makeup and haircare, as first campaigns.”

And Lopez is also enthusiastic about her new role. “Having used L’Oreal Paris products most of my life, I’m excited to work with a brand that consistently offers a wide range of superior products that are attainable for women everywhere,” says Lopez. “I’ve always loved their sophisticated ad campaigns and am thrilled to represent a brand that embraces a woman’s worth.”

Next up for this multi-faceted star is her premier as a judge on “American Idol.” The show is currently filming the Hollywood Week stage of the competition, and premieres January 19 on Fox.
